February half-term will be kicking off on 17th February and there’s plenty of things to do to keep kids entertained. Whether you’re looking to get out and about in nature or keep cosy indoors, we’ve rounded up the top 10 things to do in Tunbridge Wells this February.
- Visit the new Stick Man trail at Bedgebury Pinetum
The Stick Man Trail is brand new to Bedgebury Pinetum. Keep little ones entertained as you explore the forest on this 2km trail. Enjoy the wonderful world of Stick Man as you complete lots of fun stick-based activities, discover tree-mendous facts and learn about forest wildlife.

- Head to the Amelia for Discovery Days
Take a trip to the Amelia and prepare for World Book Day. If you need inspiration for books to read or costumes to make, the Amelia are on hand. Plus, they’re offering a specially-designed How to Survive World Book Day activity pack.
It’s free to attend and runs on 17th, 19th, 21st and 22nd of February.
- Visit Trinity Theatre for a Wicked sing-along
Fans of the wonderful Wicked will love this sing-along at Trinity Theatre. The family-friendly matinee kicks of at 2pm on 20 February!
- Take on the Detective Mystery Trail of Royal Tunbridge Wells
Calling all junior detectives! Can you solve the mystery of the ‘Outraged of Tunbridge Wells’? Perfect for aged 6+, the 2.5 mile loop starts and finishes in the Pantiles and takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
- Visit Aspens for their wooden heart decorating sessions
Perfect for craft-loving kids, Aspens are putting on Wooden heart decorating sessions at their Bluebell Café. Extend your visit with a trip to see the animals at their animal park and take a walk in the woodlands.
- Enter Superhero School at Royal Victoria Place
Royal Victoria Place have teamed up with Once Upon a Wish Events to bring Superhero School to the town. An action-packed half-term event where children can train, create and unleash their superpowers!
- Take in Tweethearts at Trinity Theatre
Visit Trinity Theatre for Tweethearts, a heartwarming interactive adventure for children and families with live music, beautiful bird puppets and an enchanting tea shop setting.

- See Bluey at Spa Valley Railway
Family-favourite Bluey will be at Spa Valley Railways on 22 February. Take a trip on the steam train and meet Bluey as you arrive at the station. Don’t forget your cameras!
- Take in the medieval castle at Scotney Castle
A year-round favourite, the medieval castle and Victorian house at Scotney castle are perfect for kids to explore. Plus, the rolling grounds and gardens are perfect to explore with children to get them outside this half-term.

For an adrenaline-fueled adventure head to Chimera in Tunbridge Wells. Children aged 5 and over can enjoy bouldering to build skills like problem-solving, co-ordination and flexibility!
