
On 20th May Assembly Hall Theatre are thrilled to be reopening their doors to the public for the first time in 2021.
Designed by architect Percy Thomas as part of the Civic Centre complex which also incorporated the Town Hall and Library, this iconic 1,000 seat venue first opened in 1939. It has been at the heart of the community and culture in Tunbridge Wells ever since, and continues to offer a world class variety of theatre, music, comedy and family events, including its celebrated annual Christmas pantomime.
Over the next year they will be hosting a dazzling and diverse line up including performances from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, comedians John Bishop and Henning Wehn, as well as some of the finest tribute acts in the world from Radio GaGa and Frankly Sinatra to The Estefan Experience, plus many many more!
