The Potting Shed
Bed & Breadfast in the grounds of a welcoming pub and restaurant
A pretty Grade II Lutyens cottage in the peaceful hamlet of Rolvenden Layne. Ideally situated for numerous National Trust sites including Sissinghurst Castle and Bodiam. There are the beautiful gardens at Great Dixter and in our village we have Hole Park Gardens. If vineyards are on your agenda there are several nearby, award winning Chapel Down is just a 10 minute car journey. The historic market town of Tenterden is a 5 minute drive, where you will find antique shops galore and many little independent shops. You can board the Kent and Sussex steam train to Bodiam Castle. The coast at Rye is only a 20 minute drive with excellent beaches at Camber.
On your return from your busy sightseeing you can relax in the pretty garden before supper at the "Ewe and Lamb" which is an easy 200 yards stroll. We are 13 miles from Headcorn railway station. We have ample on-site parking and offer a warm welcome.
