Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Potting Shed is a tranquil and romantic 4-star accommodation for 2.
History
Originally a small Kent barn, The Potting Shed served as the potting shed for Capt Collingwood ‘Cherry’ Ingram, a plant collector, ornithologist, and artist. In 2012, it was transformed into a one-bedroom self-catered holiday let. Guests have exclusive access to two private gardens, one of which features a charming summer house. Situated off the village green, a short walk from the historic St George’s parish church, The Potting Shed provides a secluded retreat while remaining conveniently close to village amenities such as the pub, community shop, Post Office, cafe, and local services.
The Potting Shed has its own parking space and a private entrance. A homegrown garden arrangement in each room and a welcome trug awaits you. Dogs are not allowed.
Food
Home-made organic bread, marmalade, home grown, organic seasonal vegetables and eggs are sometimes available.
