Have you watched cooking programmes and thought how on earth do they do that?

Or been to a restaurant and thought, I could do better than that!?  Well, here’s your chance to find out.

Tunbridge Wells has cooking schools to offer you, your friends or your family a foodie experience never to be forgotten.

And what better way to get immersed in a region than through the food?

With the abundance of orchards and farmland around us, this area can provide the freshest, tastiest, organic ingredients for your culinary masterpieces.

Come to Tunbridge Wells and learn to cook pastries, cakes, three course meals, canapés or a warming comfort food such as bread.

Which Cookery School?

At The Ashdown Manna Cookery School, learn how to make exotic dishes such as Greek, Indian, and Sushi as well as the most delicious bread and fish. This is only in Ashurst which is a 20 minute drive from Royal Tunbridge Wells.

If you are feeling naughty, try the chocolate making workshops with Temper Temper in Southborough, Tunbridge Wells.

Crowborough Cookery School hosts adult and kids sessions which can be totally bespoke. Wine tasting can be incorporated with the adult classes too.

Bake Me Happy provides baking classes in a warm, friendly home environment. Based in Rusthall, this is a great idea for a small get amongst friends together (6-8 people).

Stay for longer, learn more!

Combine with a wine tasting dinner or wine tour and the experience will be a fully rounded education for your palate.

Our accommodation search tool and planner can help you organise a well deserved and sociable break in Tunbridge Wells.

Don’t forget to visit the markets and vineyards to stock up on the local food so you can wow those back home with your new skills.

And if we can’t get to taste it, send us your photos as proof of the pudding!
