

The South East’s original Railway Beer Festival is back for the 11th year on 7, 8 and 9 October 2022 with over 160 Real Ales and 50 Ciders perfectly complimented by food stalls and live entertainment at Tunbridge Wells West Station.
The 11th Real Ale & Cider Festival is held at the Spa Valley Railway in Tunbridge Wells in association with West Kent CAMRA. Steam & Heritage Diesel trains will operate throughout the weekend between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge.
Beers and Ciders will be available at Tunbridge Wells West, Groombridge and Eridge stations and on all trains.
Jonnie Pay, Commercial Manager at the Spa Valley Railway said: “This is one of the most important annual events for the railway as it raises essential funds to help us keep the railway running for all to enjoy. It’s also a very popular event which allows us to invite other local businesses to provide food, drink and entertainment to our visitors.”
Trains will operate from 09:30 to 23:00 on Friday 7th & Saturday 8th October and from 10:30 to 18:30 on Sunday 9th October with Austerity No. 2890 ‘Douglas’, visiting Class 25 D7612, Class 33/0 33063 ‘R. J. Mitchell’ and Class 31/4 31430 ‘Sister Dora’ all hauling trains between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge. Bars will open from 11:00 to 22:30 on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th and from 11:00 to 18:00 on Sunday 9th October.
Train tickets are now on sale at a discounted rate online: £25 for adult all day rover ticket, £35 for a two day rover ticket and £45 for a three day rover ticket. Children’s tickets (2-15 yrs) are £15 for a one day rover ticket, £20 for 2 days and £25 for three days. Adult Evening Rover tickets from 6pm will be £15 and child evening ticket £10.
