Visit Groombridge Place near Tunbridge Wells and experience the magic of Christmas as the attraction is turned into a winter wonderland with beautifully decorated trees and exquisite lighting.
Father Christmas will be appearing at the Toy Workshop throughout the day to meet children and to give out presents. On arrival at Groombridge Place everyone will be given a timetable of events.
Tickets are now on sale for a daytime Christmas adventure when children can join the elves to decorate gingerbread, make reindeer food, write a Christmas Wish to put in the Wishing Well and enjoy festive family shows together. Also available this year will be a unique twilight ticket which will include a fabulous Owls After Dark Show with lighting and music.
Daytime Tickets will be available on 10 & 11 December and 17 to 24 December 2022
Each daytime ticket will include meeting some famous characters, taking part in all the activities starting with taking the Lost Toy Trail to Crusoe’s World.
Children can get crafty with Artie Elf as they make reindeer food and write a wish to place in the wishing well.
Step inside the Toy Workshop with Jinx and Jovie the elves for Gingerbread Decorating and look out for a surprise visit from Father Christmas who will give all the children a present.
Two enchanting family Christmas shows will take place throughout the day:
The Frosty Tales Show in the cosy barn will feature everyone’s favourite Snow Sisters as they take you on a frosty adventure! The Snow Sisters will be joined by the Ice Harvester and their very special snowy friend.
Christmas really IS the most wonderful time of the year so join the Elves for the Merry Messenger Show in the heart of the forest for a Christmas Tale of delight and wonder! Featuring Christmas songs, Mrs. Christmas and the Nutcracker!
The Birds of Prey Shows will take place at 12 noon and 3pm daily.
Canal boat tickets will be available at £2 for children and £2.50 for adults. Face painting, Glitter makeover and hair design will also be available but are not included in the main event so will be at an additional cost.
All daytime tickets are valid between 9.30am and 4pm and are £20 per person (adults & children) including all the main activities, birds of prey shows, a chance to explore all the play areas in the Enchanted Forest including the Giant Tree Swings and children will all receive a present from Santa or one of his elves. Children under 2 £3 including a present.
Twilight Tickets will be available daily from 10th December through to 23rd December 2022 from 5pm to 9pm.
Twilight Tickets will be available between 5pm and 9pm and will be the perfect time to experience Groombridge Place in the moonlight. A Christmas Grotto ticket will also be available on prebooked tickets only but there will be limited availability.
The maze will be beautifully lit for all to enjoy, along with the barn, trees and pathways. For the first time, visitors can see an unforgettable evening bird of prey performance featuring an incredible Owls after Dark Show with special lighting and music. A delightful Stilt Walker will also add to the magic of the evening. A canal boat ride is included in the twilight ticket price which is £15 per person (adults & children). under 2’s free. Everyone needs a ticket to enter Groombridge Place and admission is £15 per child and adult. Admission with Christmas Grotto for Children 2 and above £20 per child and under 2’s £5.
A choice of food and drink will be available for each event including from Peacock Café and Crusoe’s World during the daytime and Peacock Café for the evening event. Local food outlets including crêpes and hog roast will also be available at both events.
