September 21 @ 09:00 - 13:30
Outdoor

We’ve teamed up with Boots on Adventures for the High Weald Walking Festival to bring you a special walk on 21 September.

We will be strolling from the delightful town of Cranbrook to visit Sissinghurst.

The walk will start at Cranbrook High Street (Car Park nearest to the Coop supermarket). From the car park we will make our way through the historic town and then through fields and the sites of Roman roads until we reach the National Trust property of Sissinghurst Castle.

Although we will not gain entry to the main property we will be walking the footpaths surrounding the area which give lots of opportunities to see its unique tower.

From there we will stroll through fields and woods, returning to Cranbrook. Along the way you will hear tales of ghostly murderer, evacuees, grumpy prisoners of war and bohemian parties.
