Get ready to scream! This October, Hever Castle is hosting dark evenings of frights and terror!
You will have access to two separate mazes. First, you’ll be heading into the Castle for The 13th Frame and then down into the spooky cellars for SUBstratum. Halloween Scream is not for the faint hearted.
THE 13TH FRAME
The two-part event starts in the historic Castle where famed spirit photographer Sir William Doyle opens the doors to an exclusive exhibition of his 12 ‘ghost photographs’ to the public for the first time.
However, his spectrocamera has had a serious malfunction, and the ghosts he has captured on film are now roaming the castle halls.
Journey through the Castle in a 15 minute walk during this interactive experience.
Come face-to-face with the phantoms and witness Sir Doyle’s assistant attempting to capture the ghost of Hever Castle on film in The 13th Frame.
SUBSTRATUM
In the second part of the fright night experience you will be transported back to 1940 when the bombs of the blitz are headed for Hever Castle.
Descend into the cellars below the Castle (an area usually closed to the public) and take refuge from the airborne attack as part of the second of the 15 minute interactive experiences; but be warned – a far more terrifying encounter awaits you in a hidden labyrinth. The depraved Doctor Lockwood is conducting bizarre medical experiments inside SUBstratum!
