In a rare outing since Covid, Heads South will be returning to play their Cuban Jazz Salsa and storming Latin classics at the The Grey Lady Music Lounge in the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells on Saturday September 17th. This is only the Band’s second performance this year, following its sold out gig at Guildford Jazz Club. “Cool, cultured and exhilarating” The Musician.   “Impeccable musicianship” The Times. “Refreshing cultural mix of players with outstanding jazz credentials..Cuban rhythms dominate, rocking syncopated percussion, well worth seeing” The Gig Guide.  The Band features top UK jazz trumpeter Steve Waterman, bandleader John Harriman on piano/organ, Venezuelan bassist Adolfredo Pulido, Cuban percussionist Chino Martell Morgan, and Buster Birch on drums.
