Royal Tunbridge Wells Symphony Orchestra will deliver a performance at the Assembly Hall Theater that you can’t miss.
Guest conductor Neil Thomson is coming back for the February concert. Due to his work with the Goiás Philharmonic in Brazil, Neil has become something of an expert on Brazilian music, and he will be bringing something warm and sunny from Brazil to cheer up chilly February: Suite Pernambucana by Guerra-Peixe, is just the ticket with its vibrant Brazilian rhythms and infectious tunes!
Isata Kanneh-Mason, performing with RTWSO for the first time, brings us the perfect contrast with Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3. The concert ends with a double-dose of Beethoven: his Overture to Coriolan followed by the cheerful and rather light-hearted 8th Symphony.
