This Valentine’s Day, King Charles The Martyr, and charity Music in Action, will host two stunning candlelit concerts on Saturday, 15th February at the historic King Charles the Martyr Church. Featuring world-class musicians and the acclaimed Celoniatus Ensemble, these performances will combine timeless classical music with the romantic glow of candlelight, creating a truly memorable experience. Timed to allow concert goers to attend dinner before or after in the huge range of restaurants in Tunbridge Wells, the first concert, Valentine’s Classics by Candlelight, takes place from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The programme will include beloved works such as Pachelbel’s Canon, Bach’s A Minor Concerto, Amy Beach’s Romance, and Vaughan Williams’ Lark Ascending. These pieces, performed by the Celoniatus Ensemble and soloist Harriet Mackenzie, will transport the audience into a world of romance and beauty. The programme is ideal for both seasoned classical music lovers and those attending their first concert.

The evening continues with the second concert, Valentine’s Vivaldi by Candlelight, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
