2021: The Annual Winter Lanterns Spectacular will be lighting up Tunbridge Wells in a different way this year.
Why not join in and create a trail of light running through the streets of the town? Let’s work together to bring the 2021 theme of Heroes and Villains to life. Re-purpose your lanterns of yesteryear, keep your Christmas lights lit for a bit longer, light a candle or wave a glow stick!
The CREATE Winter Lantern festival will be taking place throughout February:
1-7th Feb – Heroes
8th – 14th – Villains
15th – 21st Origin Stories
22nd – 28th – Final Showdown
If you would like further inspiration, there are a series of virtual brainstorming workshops happening on 16th January to help you make a brand new lantern or light instillation to display in your front gardens, cars, houses, windows for all to enjoy. Sign up for your spot at:
