The Spa Valley Railway is steaming back into action from the end of May and will be running their magnificent line up of heritage diesel and steam locomotives through the spectacular local countryside on various dates throughout June and July.  Book a private compartment for your family and watch the world go by as you spend some quality time with Dad.  For beer enthusiasts, their popular evening Real Ale Train will be departing the following weekend on 26th June although the kids will have to sit that one out as it’s for adults only!

There is a superb array of formal gardens and stately homes in the area, all of which offer truly special days out with the family.  From the historic treasure of Penshurst Place to the magical moated castle at Scotney, with their magnificent indoor attractions, shops and cafes reopened, this Father’s Day is the perfect time to book a day out. Pashley Manor and Sissinghurst Castle Gardens promise to be in full bloom in June and well worth a visit.

Let Dad play detective as you immerse yourselves in the brilliantly innovative Clue Cracker challenge in Royal Tunbridge Wells.
