Put the date in your diary, on Saturday July 1, join the Tunbridge Wells community for the opening ceremony of the Tunbridge Wells Fringe Festival in Calverley Grounds between 11am-5pm. Expect live music, comedy, surprise acts as well as children’s activities and food & drink. The event is free to attend.

Have you always wanted to learn to draw in a relaxed setting and have a bit of a laugh? Then the Portraits on the P!ss! workshop could be for you. Bring a friend or a partner have a couple drinks and paint the night away! You will learn the basics of portrait and painting, have a laugh in relaxed setting. This is an adult only workshop.
Are you a classical music fan or want to embark on a musical journey? Experience Claude Debussy’s timeless music with a solo piano performance by Morten Vamplew, a classical pianist with a deep appreciation for the French composer’s work. Tickets are incredibly reasonably priced at £3.
What better combo than Burgers and Bingo with a hilarious touch of Kitty Cassis! Enjoy the delicious Roddy Burger and be entertained by your Bingo host. Grab some friends, win prizes and have a great time.
There’s a Whole Lotta (free) Comedy coming to Rusthall! Have a good old laugh while enjoying drinks and nibbles at the Red Lion Pub. If you are lucky, they will be servicing their deliciously authentic Thai Food.

The Tunbridge Wells Fringe: A Family Friendly Festival
For babies, children and adults enjoy a good old-fashioned East- End knees up with Baby Knees Up in Langton Green (9 July 10:30am). This is an interactive family sing along event with bubbles, puppets and much more!
After winning several awards at Fringe Festivals across the UK the Splash Test Dummies are off on an exciting adventure of oceanic proportions in Royal Tunbridge Wells! With splish splash circus set to drown you in tears of laughter expect impressive stunts, hilarious comedy and dexterous juggling! Fun for the whole family guaranteed at Trinity Theatre on the 4 & 5 July.
Join “eveyone’s favourite pantomime dame,” (Metro) and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist MAMA G in a new family panto adventure, The Magic Bookmark! MAMA G’s story telling will be sure to captivate families with lots of panto fun, songs and dancing. (6 July)
Emerging Talent in Tunbridge Wells
A Night at the Opera comes to the Spa Hotel. Local singer Abby Page and friends present an evening of Opera favourites. Another locals favourite is Sofia Lovell who specialises in covers of artists such as Amy Winehouse, Billie Eilish and Fleetwood Mac.
Word Up is a local spoken word open mic and it returns to the Fringe this year. Be inspired to share your words or come and listen to experiences from the local community.
